Choose the Right Brand Mode

The modes are complementary, not competing identities. Start with the job the work needs to do: functional product experiences stay light; promotional storytelling earns the darker canvas.

01 · Product & Interface Mode

Clear, useful and approachable.

For the marketplace website, app, vendor shops, dashboards, product cards, forms, onboarding and functional communications.

  • Light or white backgrounds
  • Core purple for actions and interaction
  • Clean spacing and functional typography
  • Clear product photography; limited effects
Use when people need to browse, decide or complete a task.
02 · Campaign & Creative Mode

Bold, local and instantly legible.

For advertising, social graphics, link previews, video, launches, announcements, category and location campaigns.

  • Deep-purple canvases and white headlines
  • One yellow power word or phrase
  • Natural African people and relevant products
  • Controlled glow, gradient and layered depth
Use when the work needs to stop attention and carry one message.

Foundations / Colour

Colour has a job

The lighter purple remains Enomy’s core identity. Darker purples create depth for campaign work; yellow is reserved for a single point of emphasis.

Primary interface

#8175CE

Actions, links, selected states and small campaign details.

Campaign canvas

#130D20

Foundation for advertising, launch and title-card work.

Gradient depth

#2A1572

Builds depth behind subjects, products and UI fragments.

Power word

#FFE61A

One phrase, category marker or high-priority campaign cue.

Standard Campaign

Night canvas · white headline · yellow power word · purple/magenta light.

Marketplace Discovery

Ink Deep · white/translucent cards · yellow category cue.

Product UI

Soft background · white surfaces · Primary actions · Ink text.

WhatsApp Action

Enomy dominates. Green appears only on the actual chat action.

Accessibility: Target WCAG AA contrast (4.5:1 for normal text; 3:1 for large text). Never place small white text on a busy photograph without a dark overlay. Do not use yellow for body copy on white.
Foundations / Typography

Open Sans, tuned for the job

Interface typography explains and guides. Campaign typography creates a sharp, thumbnail-readable hierarchy. The family remains consistent across both.

Interface

Sentence case · 400–700 weight · generous line height · consistent component scale. Avoid unnecessary condensed type.
Campaign
FASHION

YOU.
Bold or ExtraBold · short lines · tight, readable leading · one yellow emphasis · readable as a thumbnail.

Do

Make supporting copy significantly smaller than the headline. Use a single clear scale change. Keep the headline to roughly 3–8 words.

Do not

Use thin display fonts, scripts, long paragraphs, competing sizes, excessive uppercase body copy or tiny footer information.

Product & Interface / Toolkit

The existing product language, organized

Product components remain light, spacious and task-focused. Purple guides interaction; WhatsApp green appears only where a user starts a chat.

Spacing, radii & shadows

Use the 4 px spacing scale, 10–20 px component radii and soft purple-tinted shadows only when elevation adds meaning.

Campaign & Creative / Photography

Contemporary, African and believable

Prioritize African people and settings. Represent gender, age, skin tone, personal style, vendor type, product category, city and region without stereotype.

Placeholder campaign portrait of a contemporary African shopper in purple and magenta lighting

Shopper on a phone

Confident, natural pose; real skin texture; space for campaign copy.

Placeholder example for a local vendor connecting with customers

Vendor & customer

Aspirational but believable; clear local-marketplace context.

Placeholder example for a location-based Enomy campaign

City campaign

Person, limited products, location cue and a real interface element.

People to represent

Shopper browsing on a phone · fashion, beauty, food, electronics and home vendors · parent shopping for children · small-business owner managing a shop.

Quality guardrails

Preserve skin texture and realistic hands. Avoid plastic AI skin, distorted products, sexualization, luxury-only casting, high-fashion uniformity and stereotypical representations of Africa.

Campaign & Creative / Products

Curate products; do not scatter them

Products must be recognizable, consistently lit and relevant to the message. They support the story—never overwhelm it.

Complete category icon library

All 33 current category assets are shown below. Use the original artwork without recolouring. General marketplace campaigns use a controlled, broad selection; category campaigns use only relevant icons and imagery.

Campaign & Creative / Composition

The standard campaign stack

If the hierarchy is unclear at thumbnail size, simplify. Depth comes from soft gradients, controlled glow, translucent cards, curved forms and meaningful interface fragments.

Brand

Logo, then optional location or category chip.

Message

Large headline with one yellow power word.

Hero

One person, product group or phone interface.

Action

Brief support, one CTA, URL or campaign ID.

Use purposeful depth

Soft gradients, one glow, subtle cards, curved shapes, light texture and clear foreground/background separation.

Remove clutter

No badge piles, product-card walls, multiple CTAs, crowded icons, long copy, excessive shadows or decoration without a job.

Use Cases

Practical rules by format

Each format has one job. Adapt the composition to the canvas instead of mechanically cropping a single master artwork.

Text limitOne value proposition · 3–8 words
CompositionLogo, large headline, generous central safe area, relevant category mix
Do
  • Africa’s Product Discovery Marketplace
  • Buy From Vendors Near You
  • Use large text that survives thumbnail scaling
Do not
  • Button-shaped CTA, social icons or paragraphs
  • Depend on tiny UI screenshots

Social-media static ads

1080×1080 · 1080×1350 · 1080×1920

Campaign mode. One headline, message, CTA and strong focal point. Protect vertical platform UI areas. Redesign each ratio.

Carousel posts

1080×1350 per slide

Slide 1 creates curiosity; interiors teach one thought each; final slide may introduce Enomy or a relevant CTA. Keep educational posts useful, not continuously promotional.

Video & motion

1080×1920 · 1920×1080 · 1080×1080

Open strongly. Use deep-purple title cards, one yellow moment, brief logo motion, smooth transitions and captions. Keep interface demos legible; avoid fast text and generic tech animation.

Email & WhatsApp

Light transactional · simplified dark promotional

Transactional messages stay functional and sparse. Promotional messages use one dark header, message and CTA. Green identifies only the WhatsApp action.

Website & landing heroes

Campaign for marketing · Product for browsing

Major campaigns may combine a dark gradient, African shopper/vendor, real interface and relevant products. Keep marketplace browsing light for visibility and usability.

Location campaigns

Lagos · Abuja · Accra · Port Harcourt · Benin City

Use a small pin chip and “SHOP YOUR CITY.” Add location to support copy only when useful. Never invent local vendor counts.

Category campaigns

Fashion · Beauty · Electronics · Food · Home · Footwear · Automotive · Kids

Use relevant photography and original category icons while retaining the same Enomy logo, palette, type hierarchy and composition system.

Vendor communications

Product mode for setup · Campaign mode for growth

Use plain, practical copy: “Put Your Products Where Shoppers Can Find Them.” Never imply checkout or payment is handled by Enomy.

Templates & Specifications

Start with the correct canvas

Safe areas are working recommendations. Keep logos, faces, headlines and essential UI inside them; background imagery may bleed.

Brand Voice / Campaign copy

Direct, plain and locally relevant

Write for shoppers or vendors, not for the brand itself. Be specific and immediately understandable. Enomy enables discovery and direct vendor contact; it does not claim to handle checkout.

Preferred

Buy From Vendors Near You
Discover Products in Lagos
Find Local Fashion Vendors
Browse Products. Chat on WhatsApp.
Your Next Customer Is Looking
Put Your Products Where Shoppers Can Find Them

Avoid

Corporate jargon, abstract technology language, manipulative scarcity, unverified urgency, excessive exclamation marks, emoji in designed headlines and any language suggesting Enomy handles checkout.

Claims and trust signals require approval

Do not publish “Vendor Verified,” “Trusted Vendor,” “1,200+ Vendors,” “Thousands of Shoppers,” “Best Marketplace” or “Fastest Growing Marketplace” unless accurate, current and approved. Never invent reviews, ratings, testimonials, badges, counts or sales figures. Mark any working number clearly as placeholder content.

Campaign & Creative / AI guidance

Generate the photograph, not the finished ad

AI tools should normally create the photographic foundation only. Add the real Enomy logo, typography, CTA and actual interface screenshots during design production.

Quality control

Do / Do not

Use this final review before releasing any Enomy creative.

Do

  • Use deep purple for campaign canvases
  • Preserve recognizable Enomy purple
  • Use one yellow power word
  • Feature African people authentically
  • Keep copy brief and hierarchy strong
  • Use actual Enomy interface screenshots
  • Keep products relevant and previews thumbnail-readable

Do not

  • Use #8175CE flat behind every creative
  • Make Enomy look fashion-only
  • Overuse neon, cards, claims or yellow accents
  • Use fake badges, statistics or AI-generated Enomy UI
  • Recolour or distort the logo
  • Place white text over busy images without protection
Assets / Existing system

Keep the identity consistent

The logo, app icon, product components, spacing, iconography and mobile UI remain part of the system. Use original files without distortion or recolouring.
